Why Apex exists.

Apex started in the gap between two versions of the same founder. The first shipped product on five hours of sleep, fought decision fatigue by noon, and called the exhaustion discipline. The second slept, trained, journaled, and automated the busywork — and built more in less time without the crash.

The difference wasn't motivation or a new tool. It was a system that treated the operator as the asset worth maintaining. We read the Stoics, ran the Zone-2, and wired up the automation — then noticed the gains weren't additive. They compounded.

So we wrote it down as a protocol any founder could run. No retreats, no supplements-as-personality, no hustle theatre. Just the smallest set of practices that move the most, sequenced so each one raises the return on the next.
